The Wombspace iPhone app helps to calm and sooth your baby with a unique womb simulation soundscape. The app records parents voices, which you can then blend into the mix, making the final product customised to your child. Wombspace has been proven to help the most unsettled infants have a calm and restful nights sleep. In our last round of trials all of the participants were amazed at the effectiveness of this product in helping their baby go down to sleep and stay asleep, with some Mums even finding it useful during feeding. Parents are able to control the volume of their voice recording amongst the base sounds of the relaxing and soothing womb audio. This app quickly and easily records 30 seconds of your voice and processes it though an 'underwater' sounding filter. The vocal sample is then mixed with an actual womb recording, an accentuated, steady, resting heartbeat and other relaxing, natural sounds. When played in your baby's room, these sounds come together to mimic the aural experience your child would have had while in the womb. Recreating this natural and innately calming environment has been proven to have a soothing effect on infants. Wombspace has even been found to be effective on toddlers and adults alike! For best results use in conjunction with a dock, external speaker, bluetooth or Apple Air device that can reproduce the all important bass frequencies needed to make Wombspace effective.
